About the teacher:
Born and raised in Naples, Italy, Gabriella Pozzoli obtained her Laurea degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures there. She then taught English in High and Elementary schools in Naples. After moving to Maryland, she started teaching Italian Language in Washington D.C. to adults and US Diplomatic and Military Personnel. After her daughter was born, she moved with the family to San Diego. Since then she has dedicated herself to raising her daughter, but not for a second has she forgotten her passion, teaching. She is currently teaching Italian to children and adults at the ICC and to UCSD students. She is passionate about Elena Ferrante, whose work she has shared in various courses and bookclubs.

Please note the workshop will be taught in English, with references to the original texts.
